Nepal’s top Maoist leader Prachanda to visit China in the offing

KATHMANDU: UCPN (Maoist) Chairman and Nepal’s former Maoist Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is visiting Nepal’s northern neighbouring country China from 1 of Nepal’s New Year.

According to Dahal’s secretariat, the former Prime Minister would embark for a week-long visit to China on April 14 at the invitation of Communist Party of China . Dahal is scheduled to hold talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Prime Minister Li Keqiang.

Soon after his visit to China, Dahal is also expected to visit India as well.
