15 Nepalis left high and dry in Qatar

QATAR, March 26: At a time when Qatar has expedited construction of physical infrastructures ahead of the FIFA World Cup in 2022, 15 Nepali workers in the Gulf state are left high and dry for around last two months.
They had paid Rs 70,000 to Rs 100,000 per person to three different manpower companies in Nepal to come here with a dream to make good income and to manage two squares meals a day.But their dream of making money has been shattered as they are kept unpaid for the last two months in a cleaning company here.

They were assured by their relatives and the manpower companies that they would be paid Qatari Riyal 900 and an additional Riyal 300 for food and overtime, but all that turned to be false.
