UCPN-Maoist & six other parties will announce the federal alliance

Kathmandu, July 10. The UCPN (Maoist) has decided to forge an alliance with five Madhes-based parties and Federal Socialist Party Nepal to push for identity-based federalism and progressive constitution.

The purpose of the alliance is to put pressures the big parties—Nepali Congress and CPN-UML—to embrace the desire for change manifested in various political movements and incorporate its spirit while drafting a new constitution.

The alliance will be announced amid to hold a press meet at the World Trade Center, Tripureshwar on today.
