CIAA raids at TU, HSEB & CTEVT office

Kathmandu, August 24. A special team from the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Sunday carried out raids at various departments of the Tribhuvan University (TU),  Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) and Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB).

The Commission said that they swung into action acting on a tip off. The anti-graft constitutional body further said that they have seized important documents from the educational authorities during the raid this morning.

The CIAA said that the raid was carried out following complaints from various sectors that the officers at those institutions are involved corruption.
