RPP-N lawmakers obstruct House meeting

Kathmandu, October 31. Rastriya Prajatantra-Nepal (RPP-N) on Friday obstructed meeting of the Legislature Parliament citing security personnel’s inhuman act over the people who were staging hunger strike at the Shanti Batika in Ratnapark.

The RPP-N sought a clarification from the government over the brutal act. Lawmakers from the RPP-N picketed the rostrum of the Parliament while Home Minister Bamdev Gautam was about to give clarification about the incident.

Gautam said that police personnel were forced to remove the protesters from the Park after they attacked them with sharp weapons.

As soon as Gautam finished his speech, lawmakers stood up from the seats and chanted slogans against the Home Minister accusing him of being corrupt.
