Don’t do financial dealing with unlawful org: PAC

Kathmandu, November 19. The Public Accounts Committee ( PAC ) of the Legislature-Parliament has directed the government to refrain from doing any kind of financial transaction with Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan led Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC).

The parliamentary committee on Wednesday directed the government to give recognition to another NOC led by Rukma Sumsher Rana, which has been given legitimacy by the Supreme Court, and make it active instead.

Likewise, the committee members came down heavily upon Sports Minister Purushottam Paudel for not taking the initiatives to investigate irregularities in graft-tainted organisations and take action against the guilty.
