Modi, Sharif shake hands in the closure ceremony of the 18th SAARC Summit



Kathmandu, Nov 27 . A warm handshake and a brief conversation between a smiling Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif replacing their cold vibes brought cheer to SAARC Summit which concluded today in the Kathmandu.

The dignitaries present at the summit hall applauded the rare moment between the premiers of two nuclear power countries. Earlier the two PMs, shook hands at the retreat in Dhulikhel on the outskirts of Kathmandu. Modi put his hand on Sharif’s arm as the two leaders looked at cameras with a long handshake even as they exchanged a few sentences.

It has been criticized that the two leaders were not pay attention each other in the opening ceremony. After they shook the hands, the summit is now in the popularity.
