3 members of a family killed in Kalikot

KALIKOT: March, 3: Three members of a family died after a house collapsed in Thirpu VDC of Kalikot district onTuesday.

According to the Area Police Office, Thirpu, Dal Bahadur Rokaya (35) his wife Mimshara (34) and their seven-year-daughter Sabita of Besainkot of Thirpu VDC died in the incident.

Of the six members, three died on the spot after they were buried by the house at around 3:00 am today, said police.Three sons of the Rokaya couple, however, are safe.

The incident took place due to incessant rainfall for the past three days.
