One died in boar attack

BARDIYA, March 4: A man died of wild boar attack in Bardiya district.

Lahuwa Tharu, 41, of Loharpur of Patabhar VDC-9 in the district died after the beast attacked him while he was cutting grass in the field nearby the jungle on Tuesday.

Tharu was critically injured in the boar attack.

Tharu was rushed to hospital right after the attack but died on the same evening while undergoing treatment at a Nursing Home in Nepalgunj, said Nishanta Shreebastav, Police Inspector at Area Police Office, Patabhar.
