Indian man held with 700 gm gold at TIA

KATHMANDU, March 31: Police have nabbed an Indian national for illegally possessing 700 grams gold from the Tribhuvan International Airport on Sunday.

Police said that Syed Ibrahim Akbar Ali (30) with passport op. (8526375), who had arrived at the TIA from Malaysia on a Malindo Air flight, was arrested in possession the precious yellow metal without invoice.

Police said that Ali was held from the prepaid taxi counter at the TIA during the security check.
