Belahiya border point tensed

Lumbini (Rupandehi), Oct 5: Tension ran high at the Nepal-India border point at Belahiya today after the cadres of agitating Madhes-centric parties pelted stones on the police.

As high as 10 security personnel including Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rameshwor Karki and a journalist Sharada Malla were injured in the protest.

The agitators had thrown stones to the police by using catapults. Police have arrested some agitators.
