Unity and goodwill strong among Nepalis-PM Oli

Kathmandu, Feb 1: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that no one can break the unity and social harmony prevailing among the Nepali people.

Addressing a daylong Children’s National Song Conference organized here on Monday by Nepal Music and Drama Academy, PM Oli said, “As Nepali people have strong sentiment of nationalism and national unity, no one can pervert our independence and we would not accept anyone’s subservience either”.
The Prime Minister expressed his confidence that the country would not be weakened since all Nepali people from children to senior citizen are replete with national feelings.
Academy’s Vice-Chancellor Sarubhakta said the child songs conference has been organized to raise a sense of nationalism from childhood stage.
On the occasion, Academy Member and Music Department Chief Unnati Bohora ‘Sheela’ expressed her belief that the programme would be successful in inculcating a feeling among the children that the mother and motherland are even lovelier than the heaven.
Some 20 institutional schools of the Kathmandu Valley are taking part in the conference. At the inaugural session, singer duo Pramod Kharel and Nisha Desar made a musical presentation.
