3 NC cadres returning home from Mahasamiti Meeting die in Dhanusha road accident

MAHOTTARI: A car carrying the Nepali Congress leaders from party’s Mahasamiti Meeting met with an accident killing at least three NC leaders and injuring seven others in Dhanusha district this morning.

The deceased NC leaders are Chairman of NC’s Dharampur VDC Anup Narayan Das, Chairman of Bhaga VDC Himal Adhikari and Basudev Sah Police of Mahottari district, according to police.

The injured are receiving treatment at a Janakpur based hospital.

Police said that the accident occurred after the car (Na 2 Kha 2186) hit the stationary truck (Na 4 Kha 1216) at Lalgadh along the East-West Highway.
