Morcha participates in result-oriented meeting : Leader Karna

Kathmandu, April 30: Co-Chairman of the Sadbhawana Party Laxman Lal Karna has said that the protesting parties were seeking for result-oriented talks with the government.

Speaking at the face-to-face programme organised by the Reporters’ Club Nepal on today, Co-Chair Karna clarified that Tarai-centric parties would participate in a high-level political committee formed to resolve the province delineation issues only when three major party chairs joined the committee.

“The government invited us only for talks, but not for a substantial solution”, he said at the program presiding by the Club’s President Rishi Dhamala.

Clarifying that the all party meeting, called on today, has not carried out any agenda. He said, “We have not participated in the meeting, because it was agenda less.”  Furthermore, Leader Karna has blamed that the Prime Minister KP Oli would like to extend his tenure by calling all party meeting.

Insisting that the Madheshi Morcha has not boycotted the parliament-meeting, they will participate in the next meeting.

Likewise, Chief Whip of the Federal Socialist Forum Nepal, Dr. Shivaji Yadav has also opined that they would participate in the meeting if the senior leaders of the major parties would participated. Yadav stressed that the Morcha’s protest wouldn’t break the unity of the nation.
