In response, Karna said the NSU had planned to call the general convention in the third week of June, according to NSU leader Rhishikesh Jung Shah who was also present in the meeting.

It may be noted that the party’s first meeting held since Deuba took charge of the party directed its sister wings to call the general convention within the next six months.
