UML to play effective role in parliament



Kathmandu, May 3: The CPN (UML) parliamentary party has vowed to present itself in an effective manner in the Legislature-Parliament.

The meeting of the parliamentary party of the major ruling party UML held at Parliament Building at Naya Baneshwar today discussed about the Budget Session of parliament, the Chief Whip of the party Bhanubhakta Dhakal said.

According to him, it also held discussions on the government’s policy and programme and the budget process as well as on presenting itself in an effective way in the parliament.

In the meeting, Prime Minister and the UML parliamentary party leader KP Sharma Oli directed the party’s lawmakers to present themselves effectively in the parliament on issues that the main opposition party Nepali Congress is likely to raise in the parliament. RSS
