Woman killed in Rhino attacked

Chitwan, May 24: A woman died after being attacked by a Rhino at west Chitwan Tuesday. Ganga Gurung,39, of Narayani municipality-12 died on the spot after being attacked by a Rhino inside the grass land of the Chitwan National Park, according to Chief of the Area Police Office, Dibyanagar Ram Kishore Shaha.

Gurung had gone into the park to collect green fodder for her cattle when the incident took place. The incident was reported by Gurung’s friend who had accompanied her.

The body has been brought to Bharatpur hospital for a post-mortem, police said. RSS
