33-party front to take talks and protests simultaneously

KATHMANDU: The CPN-Maoist led 33-party front has decided to sit for talks and go for protest simultaneously.

A meeting of the front held Tuesday took such decision concluding that government talks team presented itself rudely on Sunday, general secretary of Federal Limbuwan State Council Khagendra Makhim said.

During the meeting, the leaders of the talks team of the poll-opposing parties informed the fellow comrades regarding the progress and discussions held with the government talks team and high-level political committee.

The parties opted for agitation after the leaders tabled the issues that were not resolved in the dialogue with the government team.

Makhim said that the taskforce of the front would announce the agitation programmes within few days based on suggestions of the meeting.
