Bhaktapur Transport Office to issue driving license now

KATHMANDU, Jan 15: Bhaktapur Transport management office, Jagati has started to issue driving license now.

Distribution of driving license began from the office today.

Inaugurating the service, Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Ramesh Lekhak said that the ministry was working out to update licenses in online system. He further directed the concerned bodies to develop the trial centers as well.

The expansion of the transport office is expected to facilitate the distribution of driving licenses without much hassle, he added.

Similarly, secretary at the Ministry, Dhan Bahadur Tamang shared that the service recipients would easily acquire services from the office as they were making the system transparent and easier. He shared that such office soon will resume in Chabahil as well.

It may also be noted that the Department of Transport Management has initiated filling of forms for driving license online. It has been distributing smart license since the past one year. RSS
