KATHMANDU, Feb 19: Secretary of the major opposition party CPN-UML Bhim Acharya has claimed that the tabled constitution amendment bill in the parliament to be anti-Madhesi agenda.

He said, “UML is not against election. We will welcome if the government announces the date of election,” during an interaction program organized by the Reporters’ Club Nepal presided by Club’s President Rishi Dhamala. He added,” Concerning the constituent amendment proposal, it is clearly an anti-Madhes agenda.”

“It has been said that the constitution amendment proposal is aimed to Madhesi people, which is lie,” Acharya added.

“Madhesi people were lured for 50 lakhs reward, and were brought to movement. Now even Madhesi people understand that. They won’t participate in the Madhesi leaders’ revolution. Their revolution will never become success,” he said replying to a media person’s query about Madhesi leaders’ warning to declare revolution.
