Binod Chaudhary 1567th richest in the world: Forbes
KATHMANDU, March 21: Forbes Magazine has listed Binod Chaudhary, Chairman of Chaudhary Group (CG) as the 1567th richest man in the world.
Chaudhary, also the sole billionaire in Nepal, according to Forbes, owns properties worth $1.31 billion.
In 2016, Forbes listed Chaudhary in 1577th position among the billionaires of the world.
Binod Chaudhary controls the Cinnovation/CG Group and is Nepal’s sole billionaire. His biggest asset is a controlling stake in Nepal’s Nabil Bank, but CG’s portfolio also includes foods, electronics, beer and hotels.
For the fourth year in a row, Bill Gates tops Forbes magazine’s list of billionaires.
