Educationist Negi to be honoured with Kalyan Sherchan Memorial Award

Pokhara, Feb 3: Educationist Balbir Singh Negi is to be honoured with this year's Kalyan Sherchan Memorial Award.

At programme organised by the Kalyan Sherchan Memorial Foundation here today, Foundation Chairman Purna Bahadur Gurung (Hyalmo) said that Negi is to be honoured for his significant contribution for the development of education in Nepal. The Foundation presents the award every year.The award carries a purse of Rs 25,000, a copper plaque and shawl. The award would be handed over on February 7.
