Massive fire destroys 60 houses in Banke

BANKE, April 29: A massive fire at Chitaipurwa of Holiya in Duduwa Village Council – 1, Banke has destroyed 60 houses built under thatched roof. The fire was taken under control with help of the Armed Police Force (APF) and the locals, according to District Police Office, Banke. The detail estimate of the damages incurred in the fire is yet to arrive, police said. Nepal Red Cross Society, Banke is set to hold an assessment of the damages and losses incurred in the fire. RSS
