Clash between Dahal and Bhattarai faction turns violent in Rautahat

RAUTAHAT: The district convention of the UCPN (Maoist) Rautahat turned violent today after the establishment faction led by party chiarman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and another group led by Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai clashed over the issue of representatives’ selection.

The UCPN (Maoist) is holding its seventh general convention in Hetauda from Saturday.

The district convention of the UCPN (Maoist) is underway at Basantapur of Santapur in the district.
Ashok Jaisawal is leading the establishment faction while former minister Pravu Sah is leading the Bhattarai faction in the district.
