Constitution Amendment bill made public today

KATHMANDU, Jan 10: The government has made the constitution amendment bill public today.

The exact copy of the bill has been published in Gorkhapatra, informed spokesperson of Parliament Secretariat Bharat Sharma.

According to Sharma the proposal bill will take at least 15 days before it is advanced even if processed in routine.

As per the provision, once the Article 247 (3) is advanced to the parliament for amendment, it should be made public with in 30 days of time. The parliament meeting will take place today.

The Assembly members will express their views on election bill in today’s meeting. The House members had asked to include the declaration date in the amendment bill yesterday.
