Curfew clamped in Bajura headquarters



BAJURA: A curfew has been clamped in Martadi the district headquarters of Bajura from 3:00 this afternoon to 5:00 am tomorrow morning, chief district officer Bhabishwar Pandey confirmed.

The administration enforced curfew after the situation turned tense following the protestors set the residence of CDO Pandey on fire. Police also arrested some protestors too in connection to the incident.

The locals and cadres of the UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN-UML and CPN-Maoist had staged protests demanding construction of roads and bridges to connect the district headquarters Martadi.
