Damauli Mahotsav concluded
Damauli, Jan 19: The second Damauli Mahotsav held in Tanahun district concluded on Monday, attracting more than 318,000 visitors in the event.
Spokesperson of the fair organising committee, Tulsiram Pandey, said that the festival witnessed the business transaction of Rs 63.2 million against the target of Rs 50 million.Coordinator of the organising committee, Krishna Acharya, shared that the fair was highly successful than the expectations in terms of business and others too, thanks to massive flow of the visitors.
In the concluding ceremony of the festival, lawmaker Shankar Bhandari said that such programmes would help promote economic, social, cultural and tourism related activities of the district.
Over 200 stalls of different items including that of local produces were kept in the festival.
