Decision only after studying the revised bill: Mainali

KATHMANDU, April 24: CPN-UML General Secretary CP Mainali, stating that he had no knowledge of the content of the revised constitution amendment bill, said he would react to the bill only after studying it.

Speaking during an interaction program organized by the Reporters’ Club Nepal on Monday, he highlighted the need for agreement, cooperation and unity between the political parties to strengthen the national integrity.

He said, “The political parties must unite to protect the hard-earned federalism. It is necessary that the parties must cooperate to endorse the constitution amendment bill and open the door to election in the country.”
