Former Prime Minister Kirti Nidhi Bista

KATHMANDU, Nov 11: Nepal’s former Prime Minister Kirti Nidhi Bista passed away on Saturday at the age of 90. He was suffering from cancer for a long time.

Bista breathed his last at around 10 am at his own residence in Gyaneshwor, Kathmadu, according to his family source.

Bista was born in January 15, 1927 in Thamel, Kathmandu. He served as prime minister of Nepal during the Panchayat system from 1969 to 1970, 1971 to 1973 and 1977 to 1979.

He will be cremated at Pashupati Aryaghat today itself. He is survived by two sons and three daughters.
