Four dead in Nawalparasi mini truck accident

Kawasoti, May 25: Four people were killed in a mini truck accident at Harkapur of Nawalparasi along the East-West Highway this morning.

Of the dead, two are women and remaining are men. However, their identities are yet to be ascertained, according to the Area Police Office Gaidakot. The mini truck (Ba 2 Kha 1137) en route to Salyan from Kathmandu carrying brick kiln workers met with an accident after the driver lost the control of vehicle and hit a peepal tree.

Others 14 have been injured in the accident and are undergoing medical treatment in Chitwan-based Bharatpur Medical College, police said. RSS
