Gachhadar for Congress-led govt

Kathmandu: Madhesi Janadhikar Forum- Democratic chairman Bijay Kumar Gachhadar has said that his party would support the government under the leadership of Nepali Congress (NC).
During the meeting with NC president Sushil Koirala held at his residence in Maharajgunj today, Gachchhadar said that his party, MJF-Democratic, was committed to democracy and would support the government under the Nepali Congress’ leadership.

During the meeting the two leaders discussed about forging political consensus to form the government, to call the first meeting of the Constituent Assembly (CA) and Legislature-Parliament, and constitution writing among other contemporary issues, said Koirala’s personal aide, Laxman Dhakal.

Leader Gachchhadar said, “It is not necessary to raise the issue of the President. The political parties should instead move ahead as per the interim constitution regarding the President’s term.
