Bheri Zonal Hospital will be expanded as per necessity of people: Health Minister

NEPALGUNJ, June 25: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health and Population, Upendra Yadav, has said that the Nepalgunj-based Bheri Zonal Hospital will be expanded as per the necessities of the people of Province 5 and Karnali Province.

While inaugurating the Dexa Scan and Bone Health Osteoporosis Clinic at the hospital on Monday, Health Minister Yadav said that processes have been initiated to further advance uses of technology in the hospital and make its service delivery effective.

“The federal government has realized the need of an advanced hospital in Nepalgunj and has initiated a process towards that end, he said.

On the occasion, Urban Development Minister Mohammed Ishtiyak Rai stressed the need of improving hospital’s service delivery as per the demand of time. Hospital Development Committee chair Dr Usha Shah chaired the program while medical superintendent Dr Prakash Thapa apprised the Minister of the status of the hospital. RSS
