Nepal defeats Hongkong with 7 wickets



Kathmandu, May o5. Nepal has defeated to the Honkong in the ongoing ACC premier league cricket match held in the Malysia. Earlier the ongoing match between Nepal and Hong Kong in the  ACC Premier League has been delayed due to rain now starts at the stadium in Malaysia.  Nepal has met the target in 34.1 over, by remaining 7 wickets.

Earlier the Match has affected by the heavy rain, Nepal has chased the revised target of 144 runs losing three wickets in the process. The target was revised to 144 runs from 38 overs as per the Duckworth–Lewis (D/L) method after rain interruption.

For the victory of Nepal, Skipper Mr. Paras Khadka become a higest scorer with 43 runs not out. Khadka and Naresh Budayair (41) contributed to a match-winning 53 runs partnership after the dismissal of Subash Khakurel (16) and Gyanendra Malla (15).
In the today match Nepal’s fast baller Mr. Sompal Kami took four wickets followed by Basanta Regmi with three  and debutant Aarif Sheikh also claimed two wickets as Nepali bowlers bounced back into the game after leaking too many runs in the early overs.
