KATHMANDU, March 15: The United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF), an alliance of seven Madhes-based parties, has withdrawn its support to the ruling coalition accusing the ruling parties to have breached the three-points understanding inked while forming the government.

Lawmaker Mahendra Raya Yadav said that Madhes-based leaders are to inform the House Speaker Onsari Gharti Magar about Front’s decision to withdraw support to the government in the legislature-parliament meeting today.

UDMF last week handed over a five-point memorandum giving the government seven days ultimatum to postpone the election and endorse the constitution amendment bill.

The ultimatum expired yesterday.
