Industry Minister assures to end private sector’s problems



BIRGUNJ: Industry Minister Anil Jha has committed to ending the problems of industrial sector to increase the contribution of industrial sector in country’s economy.

Jha said the government was working to resolve the problems seen in industrial corridors across the country. He also urged the business community to get involved in a campaign of creating investment-friendly environment in the country.

Similarly, Industry Secretary Krishna Gyawali said the Ministry was serious towards creating industry-friendly environment with necessary amendments to the regulations.

The Ministry was not able to do enough for the promotion of industrial sector in the present political situation in the country, he said.

Director General of Department of Small and Cottage Industries Bagendra Raj Sharma Poudel said industry-friendly was the need of the hour and underlined the need of public-private cooperation to promote small and cottage industries.
Chamber President Ashok Baidya power outage and labour problem are the main challenges facing industries in Bara, Parsa corridors at present.
