Jails are meant for breaking; eight prisoners flee Rolpa jail

ROLPA: Eight inmates have managed to escape from the Rolpa prisonhouse on Sunday night by digging nearly eight meters tunnel.

Most of them were jailed for their crime convict on rape and robbery. Those breaking the jail are Arjun Sen, Raju Thapa, Basanta Roka, Dhruba Dangi, Chakme BK, Raj Bahadur Oli, Krishna Bahadur Oli of Rolpa and Deepak Pun of Saigha of Dang, police inspector Inspector Saroj Poudel confirmed.

The Rolpa Prisonhouse is overcrowded housing some 90 prisoners despite its capacity to house only 35.
