CPN-Maoist Centre provides Rs 600 thousand to Gautam’s family

KATHMANDU, March 23: CPN (Maoist Centre) today has provided Rs 600 thousand to the family of martyr Govinda Gautam who was killed by Indian Border Security Force’s gunfire on March 9.

Gautam’s wife Laxmi Gautam received the amount from the party’s local leaders in Kanchanpur this morning, informed the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.

Party chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal had proposed to provide the financial support to Gautam’s family and local leadership handed over the amount to the family, PM’s secretariat said.

The government has declared him martyr and has provided one million rupees to his family. RSS
