Mobile camp for working journalists



Tilottama (Rupandehi), Jan 14: As many as 235 working journalists received press representative identity card from two-day mobile camp held in Butwal under the joint aegis of the Department of Information and Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ).

A team headed by acting Director-General of the Department Bishnu Bhakta Ranjit distributed press ID cards to journalists during the mobile camp held in Butwal on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Working journalists from Gulmi, Arghakhanchi, Palpa, Rupandehi, Kapilvastu, Nawalparasi and Baglung districts obtained ID cards in the camp.
On the occasion, Ranjit said that the Department has conducted such mobile camps to reach out its service to the districts.
He urged all journalists to obtain press ID card from the Department as press pass is mandatory for accidental insurance of working journalists.
The Department of Information’s team provided the service to the working journalists of Lumbini zone at the request of FNJ, Rupandehi chapter, said Chapter’s Chairperson Sher Bahadur KC.
