Nepal loses the ACC premier league with Afghanistan

Kathmandu, May 07. Afghanistan have registered a humiliating win over Nepal on Wednesday’s match in the  ongoing ACC Premier League, at Kinrara Academy Oval, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

In the Earlier, winning the toss Nepal has invited Afghanistan for batting. For the Victory of Afganisthan its players have made solid start  especially the openers Noor Ali Zadran and Usman Ghani.  Afghanistan has given the long range  target of 263 runs against Nepal.

Likewise for the victory of Afganistan  Ghani and Hashmatullah Shaidi – made 51 runs together.

But for the Nepal it’s openers batsmans have left the bad impression while in the starting game by Subash Khakurel and Naresh Budhyair have made 8 & 10 runs respectively.Subash Khakurel (8),  Naresh Budayair (10), Gyanendra Malla (11) and Binod Bhandari (5) all fell cheaply while Sharad Bheswakar was dismissed for a duck. Skipper Paras Khadka  top scored for Nepal with 33 runs.

The match was disturbed due to the heavy rain and with shortened over and reduced target total of 237 runs in 32 overs, according to the D/L rules.
Nepal finished the tournament with three wins and two losses from five games. Nepal has also qualified for ACC Championship.
