Organic Vegetable Collection Centre established in Banke

BANKE, April 30: An organic vegetable centre named Suryodaya was set up at Sitapur in Khajura rural municipality in Banke district today.

The local leader Nanda Lal Rokaya inaugurated the Centre where the locally produced organic vegetables will be stored on a weekly basis.

Sitapur is famed for producing cent per cent organic vegetables and other crops. Leader Rokaya said that the Centre will only collect and sale organic vegetables.

The Centre aims to encourage the youth in organic farming and promote healthy lifestyle through the consumption of vegetables produced without using fertilizers and pesticide. RSS
