PM’s three-point roadmap for forging consensus with Madhesi leaders

KATHMANDU, Feb 20: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said he will announce local poll date after reaching an agreement with Madhesi leaders and for that he has already prepared three-point roadmap for forging consensus with Madhes-based parties.

According to him, these Three-points road map are,

  • A cabinet meeting on Monday to decide the number of local units in federal structure.
  • Then, a decision will be taken on constitution amendment bill in the parliament
  • Thirdly, an agreement will be reached with the Madhesi Front to resolve the issues of federal structures by forming a new federal commission based on past agreements.
