Province demarcation our bottom line: Mahantha Thakur

SAPTARI, March 26: The Tarai Madhes Loktantrik Party (TMLP) Chair Mahantha Thakur has said that the Madhes-centric political parties will take part in the local polls only if the constitution amendment bill is endorsed including province demarcation.

At a press meet here today, Thakur said that they could not participate in the polls without change in the provincial border, as it was their bottom line. He added, “If these demands are not addressed, we will have no alternative but to revolt against the government.

In another note, Thakur urged the government to take action against shooters of Saptari killing in course of CPN (UML)’s Mechi-Mahakali Campaign adding that those killed in Saptari were innocent.
