Radar gun to measure, control vehicle speed in Muglin road

RATNANAGAR, June 18: In view of the over speed and overtaking with the expansion of the road along Chitwan-Narayangadh section, the police have initiated a campaign to measure and control the over speed of the vehicles with the use of radar gun.

The vehicles in over speed and those overtaking others were causing accidents, so radar gun was used to tame the unruly drivers, said Superintendent of Police Sushil Singh Rathour.

According to him, even an onsite inspection was carried out with the leadership of Chief District Officer of Chitwan, Jitendra Basnet.

In this connection, 35 drivers were taken under control recently for over speeding, drunk driving and overtaking.

However, regular checking at various places was continuous. RSS
