Relief worth Rs 33.5 million distributed



Dhunche (Rasuwa), Jan 6: The task of distributing relief to locals of four VDCs of Rasuwa has been completed to ease the lives of earthquake survivors in the chilly days.

According to Nepal Red Cross Rasuwa District Chapter Babulal Tamang, relief amount of Rs 33.52 million was distributed to 3,352 earthquake survivors’ households in Yarsa, Bhorle, Dandagaun and Thulagaun on approval of the District Natural Disaster Rescue Committee.
The relief was the part of the government announced programme of distributing warm clothes worth Rs 10,000 to earthquake victims, he informed.
Among the relief recipient households are 942 in Yarsa, 1,422 in Bhorle, 601 in Dandagaun and 387 in Thulagaun. Details of the relief distributed in other 14 VDCs of the district are yet to be updated. RSS
