The struggle ahead for good governance and prosperity : PM Dahal



Kathmandu, Aug 21: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the struggle ahead should be for good governance, development and prosperity.

In a meeting with a delegation from the western regional development forum at the PM’s official residence in Baluwatar this morning, the Prime Minister said since a long time has been spent for political change, we should now move ahead towards the road to prosperity. “Political change will not be durable without good governance, development and prosperity’, he said, according to his deputy personal secretary Manohari Timilsena.

He also said that his government’s priority was to move ahead the reconstruction work, uniting the Madhesh, hills and the mountains to consolidate internal unity, and maintain balanced relations with the neighbours.

The Forum Chair Chandra Dhakal and members of the delegation apprised the Prime Minister of the challenges facing the development of the far-western region.
