Two- thirds majority should be protected: leader Pokharel

ITAHARI, June 14: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) leader and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defense Ishwar Pokharel, has said that the party had a great responsibly to protect the two-thirds majority as such message was delivered in South Asia.

Speaking in a program organized by the NCP Sunsari district chapter on Thursday, leader Pokharel said so.

DPM Pokharel further said that ending corruption was a first priority of the incumbent government.

He also claimed that party secretariat would settle unresolved disputes within the party.

Leaders and cadres of Rastriya Prajatantra Party and other various political parties who defected and joined Communist Party of Nepal were welcomed.

UML’s lawmaker Bhim Acharya also spoke in the program.
