UK Minister will arrive on tomorrow

Kathmandu, June 01. The United Kingdom Minister of State at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Hugo Swire MP will arrive Nepal on a 3-day visit on Monday.

A statement issued by British Embassy today said that Minister Swire holds the office responsible for UK’s relationship with Nepal.

“This will be Swire’s first visit to Nepal, and the first by a Foreign Office Minister since 2008,” the statement read.

Minister Swire will be accompanied by a UK trade delegation comprising eight leading British companies active in the infrastructure and education sectors.

During his visit Swire will discuss bilateral and international issues with senior government officials, including the Prime Minister, Foreign Minister, Home Minister and Finance Minister.
