Writ filed at SC against DIG promotion

Kathmandu, August 15. A writ petition has been filed at the Supreme Court against the promotion of nine DIGs to the post of AIG.

DIG Yadav Adhikari on Friday filed a writ against the DIG promotion demanding implementation of the recommendation made by the Review Committee on the promotion decision made earlier by the Promotion Committee.

DIG Adhikari had earlier moved the apex court demanding a review on the promotion decision made on May 27. The court had issued an interim order not to implement the decision.
