KATHMANDU, July 16: Federal Socialist Forum Nepal (FSFN) Chairman Upendra Yadav and Naya Shakti Party Nepal Coordinator Dr Baburam Bhattarai on Sunday said that keeping the existing 240 electoral constituencies intact was not unacceptable as it could harm democratic republic and the sentiments of inclusiveness.

Yadav and Bhattarai’s joint statement comes in the backdrop of the political discussion of maintaining 240 constituencies even after state restructuring.

They have also demanded that the government form Constituency Delineation Commission immediately and conduction of provincial assembly’s election before holding the election of federal parliament.
