Four dead in separate road accidents

KATHMANDU: Two people died in a road accident at Pragati Nagar of Parasi district along the East-West highway in the district this morning.

Police identified the deceased as Arjun Neupane of Rupsingdanda of Syangja and Bijay Bhandari of Dudhraksha-9 of Rupandehi district.

The accident took place when their motorbike (Lu 15 Pa 915) collided with a van (Na 2 Cha 6835) coming from the opposite direction, police said. Neupane died on the spot and Bhandari died while undergoing treatment.

Likewise, a man died after he fell from a moving bus at Bhimad VDC-2 in Tanahun district this morning.

Bishnu Rana, 22, of Gajarkot VDC-9 of Tanahun died after he fell from the door of the bus (Dha1 Kha 220) heading to Bhimad of Tanahun from Sankhar of Syangja district.

He died while undergoing treatment at Gandaki Hospital in Pokhara.

In yet another incident of road mishap, a person died after he fell from a moving bus at Khalanga in Salyan district this morning. The bus (Na 3kha 1411) was heading to Nepalgunj from Salyan, the RSS reports.

The deceased is Lokendra Hamal, 42, of Khalanga-9, Bayaldanda.
